Event Description:UnityPoint Heath - Grinnell Regional Medical Center is hosting their Postpartum Support Group every second and fourth Monday from 5 – 6:30 PM at GRMC. Postpartum Support Group is free and focused on caregivers and their infant(s), newborn to one year of age at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in the Tomasek Conference Room at 210 4th Avenue. Enter through the Main Entrance on the south side of the building and follow the signs to the Tomasek Conference Room on first floor. Baby weight checks are available at each session. Get questions answered in a supportive, come-and-go atmosphere. Connect with health care and lactation experts, as well as fellow moms and caregivers for guidance and resources including newborn care, postpartum recovery, immunizations and tips for successful breast or bottle feeding. No need to register. Join for refreshments, fellowship and peer and professional support! Individuals do not need to be a UnityPoint Health patient to attend.
