The purpose of the position is to accurately pick and pack customer orders in the most efficient manner. To securely package orders in the most cost effective manner, and to ensure that the package is marked with proper shipping and handling instructions. Essential Functions -Fills customer orders by retrieving them from appropriate shelving. -Checks condition of product to ensure quality. -Packs items of customer order securely into the most cost effective box and bags, and prepares order to be shipped out to customers. -Responsible for ensuring that proper labeling and shipping instructions are attached to order. -Places notification of problem shelf inventory in designated area -Responsible for following direction from area leader concerning various extra jobs needing completion in area, boxes, labels etc. -Handles counter sales for walk-in customers, door orders -Checks walk-in purchases from customers. Provides for spiritual support, guidance, and counseling for patients, families and caregivers served by GRMC’s Hospice and other GRMC patient care departments. Acts as a liaison for making referrals or contacting other member for clergy when appropriate. Credentials with a recognized and established denomination or faith. Maybe requested by family members to conduct the funeral service for those families not affiliated with a church, or if asked, willing to participate in the funeral or graveside service. Must Possess a valid Iowa Driver’s License and is willing to provide own transportation.
