Celebrate the end of the week with Grinnell College Museum of Art! Grab your favorite liquid refreshment and tune in for a presentation and conversation with Dr. Petrouchka Moïse, the CLIR/Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Data Curation for Haitian Visual Arts. She works jointly with the Grinnell College Library and the Waterloo Center for the Arts, and plays a central role in coordinating the Haitian Art Digital Crossroads Project (HADC). HADC aims to make the Haitian art collection of the Waterloo Center for the Arts, the largest publicly held collection of Haitian art in the world, digitally accessible through a network of online resources. Come and learn as Dr. Moise shares the experiences that lead her to design the concept of “Going Beyond Provenance” as she collaborates with cultural and academic institutes within Haiti and the Diaspora to build awareness of this collection and revolutionize access and equity.
