Sets up and maintains Grinnell Mutual’s Data Center Resources and infrastructure to ensure company data and services are available to users while maintaining the integrity of systems and data to support security needs of the business.
Designs, installs, administers, and optimizes Data Center Resources to achieve high performance of the various business applications.
Deploys, configures, maintains and monitors Data Center Resources to ensure adequate performance and organizational security standards are met.
Manages web environment design, deployment, and maintenance activities.
Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses issues proactively, evaluates and implements solutions quickly to achieve the best outcome for end user and system security.
Completes routine activities related to daily backups and data integrity/security.
Monitors and stays abreast of industry trends relevant to technology and security practices through education, professional resources, and research.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in computer related field with a minimum of two years of experience in system administration; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrates proficiency with server administration, system, and network design.
