Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for patients within the home care area as directed by medical staff. Follows
policy and procedure of the Medical Center. Plans for and provides skilled nursing services. Performs related work as delegated.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License(s)/Certificate(s): Current licensure by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and car insurance according to agency policy. Experience: Previous Home Health experience
preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and write English in order to communicate with staff, patients, and
other customers. Knowledge of health education and home health care. Must provide own transportation. Excellent computer and
technology skills including clinical documentation, email, word processing, and spreadsheets. Must be flexible, organized, and able to
multitask. Able to take call rotation and work irregular hours as needed. Understands the Medicare and Medicaid regulations as they
apply to the Home Health. Excellent customer service skills.
