The Director of Residence Life provides direction and oversight to the college’s Residence Life operation. The Director manages, leads, and provides the vision for the Residence Life department, including the staff, residential programming, housing operations, and facilities. This position supervises six live-in residence life staff members (5 Residence Life Coordinators and 1 Assistant Director of Residence Life) and the Assistant Director of Housing Operations. Due to on-call responsibilities, this position is required to live within Grinnell city limits.
A master’s degree in higher education administration, college student personnel, counseling or other area relevant to student affairs; minimum of five years (post-master’s) of increasingly responsible experience in a college or university residence life/housing.
