Radiology Technologist-Radiology

To provide high quality radiographs, at a technical level, so as not to require constant supervision. To assist the Radiologist in the performance of advanced procedures. Clinical Excellence/Patient Care

• Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
• Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
• Assists with quality assurance processes.

Other 

• This position may be assigned a specific mission to address in an emergency situation to assist in disaster response and recovery as part of the UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Hospital Emergency Incident Command System.  Situations of a critical nature may require an individual to perform multiple tasks until additional support can be obtained.
