Description

The purpose of the position is to maintain proper inventory levels for Brownells. Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organization needs. Ensure shipment and delivery time schedules are maintained. Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies. Work with inventory control specialists to perform periodic review of inventory stock, recording quantity, type, and value of materials on hand. Maintain FFL inventory.

What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory count verification
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory
  • Make necessary inventory changes in system and physical location
  • Maintain item locations in system and physical locations
  • Receives and picks serialized items
  • Item location maintenance
  • Collaborates within Fullfillment and cross-functionally to resolve inventory control issues

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintains ERP systems as it relates to inventory control tasks
  • Responsible for labeling
  • Maintains and records and files
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Assists in fulfillment as needed
  • Read and understand B.O.M

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in related field

Knowledge & Skills

  • Brownells process, products and inventory systems
  • Basic arithmetic (discounts, percentages, averages)

Physical Demands

Medium work. Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
