Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in accounting, finance, or another business degree;
- Five years or more of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Excellent math, verbal, and time-management skills
- Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and work confidentially in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft products (especially Microsoft Excel), accounting software and database activity
- Proven ability to work independently, practice good judgment, being accountable, and independently owning recurring accounting processes is required (such as monthly reconciliations, recurring journal entries, monthly reporting packages, etc.)
- Interpersonal communication skills, work collaboratively with others, deal with conflicting points of view, and the ability to build rapport with internal and external contacts
- Organizational, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service and being an active and visible member of the campus community
