Our Grinnell client is in need of a Legal Administrative Assistant to work full-time! This position will work closely with the firm's clients, staff, and lawyers in confidential matters of transactional law, estate planning, and civil litigation. This role will also assist with the billing and accounting for the firm.

Requirements

Job Requirements: • Client customer service. • Gathering client information, organizing client physical and electronic files. • Managing electronic case management and billing system. • Preparing legal documents such as wills, motions, orders, exhibits, petitions, answers, and witness subpoenas. • Readying materials for trial proceedings including documents, evidence and verifying information. • Communicating with attorneys and clients to keep everyone up to date. • Supporting attorneys during trial by preparing documents and preparing evidence for presentation. • Assisting with accounting. •Coordinating appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary. •Organization and maintenance of a case log and/or file for reference and review.

Hours: Full-time, M-F (8a-5p) Wage: $18-20; Pay is determined on experience.
