POSITION SUMMARY
The Computational Physics Post Baccalaureate will be responsible for assisting in the development of a set of computational exercises to be incorporated into the physics curriculum. These exercises will be used to teach Python programming and to reinforce physics concepts from 200, 300 and 400-level physics courses.
The employee will help determine the content of the exercises in consultation with physics faculty, and they will take the lead on writing the exercises, creating the solution guide, and testing them. Additionally, the employee will serve as a laboratory assistant for a computational classical mechanics laboratory.
This is a Post-Baccalaureate fellowship, 12-month, full-time position. The rate of pay is $17 per hour and is benefits eligible.
