Overview
Today’s topic is “The Seven Deadly Sins of Industrial Agriculture” with guest speaker Jon Andelson, Professor Emeriti of Anthropology (rescheduled from Feb. 20). This talk will focus on agriculture’s sins against nature. (Its sins against people could fill another talk.) There are actually more than seven sins, but it’s a start. What are they? What harm are they causing? Can they be countered, as the original seven deadly sins were said to be, by heavenly virtues?
