Event Description:

Join the Grinnell Lions for Ag Appreciation Day on Thursday, August 31 from 3-7 PM. This year's featured tractor ia a 1972 John Deete 4020 owned by Darryl Hull.

Route 66 will play from 4-5:50

Program begins at 5:50 featuring GHS Ag Instructor and FFA Advisor, Ashley Wolfe will speak followed by the presentation of the Ag Business of the Year and Farm Family of the Year awards. 

At 6:35 the Larry VanErsveld Tractor Parade will begin. Local farmers are encouraged to bring their old or new tractors to put on display and participate in the parade.

34 exhibitors will be on site including favorties like: 

• Grinnell FFA petting zoo
• HLV/BGM & Montezuma pedal tractor obstacle course
• Dari Barn on the Mooove food trailer (serving 3-7 PM)
