Event Description:

What does it mean when one family's annual revenue is equivalent to the combined annual tax revenues of 19 states? Come hear Grinnell alum, Austin Frerick '12, discuss his new book, Barons, and how the consolidation of the global food industry affects our lives, our economy, and our future prospects. Austin will be joined by Iowa -based journalist, Laura Belin, of the political website, Bleeding Heartland. Laura is also a statehouse correspondent for KHOI Community Radio in Ames. This event will be Thursday, April 2 at 7 PM in JRC 101.
