Event Description:

Karin Stein, Iowa Coordinator for Moms Clean Air Force, will host the presentation of the 90-minute documentary “Blue Vinyl” (2002), followed by a brief discussion and Q&A about the plastics crisis in the world, and some actions people of all ages can take in the U.S.A. 

Winner of a Sundance Award and highly praised by critics Roger Ebert and Elvis Mitchell, the film is more relevant than ever.  Critics labeled it “funny and irreverent” and “scary and hilarious.”

Stein, a professional performer of Latin American music, will bring her guitar and bamboo sticks for a song or two after the movie, which you can enjoy with coffee and tea.
