Event Description:

The UnityPoint Health Hospice team will host a Hospice 101 on Thursday, August 1 at 10AM at Drake Community Library. The event will share information about the purspose of hospice care, how hospice supports patients and families through the time of death, the role of the hospice team and the role of advanced directives. It's never too early to start asking questions about the future for your loved ones.

This is a free event, and is anticipated to provide a one-hour overview of hospice care.
