Location Description:Central Park Event Description:Unity in the Community 5K/3K Fun Run will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. in Central Park, Grinnell. This family-friendly event reflects UnityPoint Health’s ongoing commitment to promoting health, wellness and a sense of community throughout the area.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to run or walk either a 5K or 3K course. Registration is $10 per person, with an optional event T-shirt available for $5 (if registered by Sept. 24). Children are welcome! All children should sign up as a registered participant and must be accompanied by an adult. Race chip timing is included with every race number, which can be picked up on race day from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. Online registration is open through Oct. 3 at 11 p.m. at runsignup.com/Race/IA/Grinnell/UnityInTheCommunity or visit facebook.com/GrinnellRegional for more information.
