WHERE: The Loft Theatre (top floor of the Arts Center, 926 Broad St) WHEN: Monday, July 14, 21, and 28, 6:00 - 8:00 PM INSTRUCTOR: Karie Miller AGES: 18+ FEE: FREE! Come out and play! This adult acting workshop is for anyone who wants to try the rehearsal room for a bit and build their skills or return to the studio and keep their skills sharp in a low-stakes, supportive community! At each 2-hour workshop, we’ll do a brief physical and vocal warm up, play a couple theatre games, then dive into script work, improvisation, and technique. The workshops are each standalone--you can take as few or as many as you like. No experience necessary. Professor Karrie Miller teaches Theater at Grinnell College and recently directed "Rumors" for Grinnell Community Theatre.
