Program Overview:
Join us for an engaging and educational morning focused on safely identifying wild mushrooms in Iowa. Perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts alike!
Agenda:

40-minute informational on mushroom safety and foraging basics

40-minute hands-on mushroom identification activity
-
Guided hike to search for and identify live mushroom specimens
Who Can Attend:
Open to participants ages 13 and older. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: FREE TO PARTICIPANTS
Thanks to generous sponsorships from Poweshiek County Extension and Outreach and Jasper County Extension and Outreach, this class is completely free. Field guides and other materials are included!
