Grinnell College invites you to join their new weekly series of casual, enagging conversations with featured campus guests. The new weekly series provides an opportunity for informal, engaging conversations between the College and broader Grinnell community on a variety of topics.

A member of the campus community will share short, conversational presentations on recent work. Whether you’re curious about new research, campus initiatives, or if you simply want to learn more about what’s happening at the College, Coffee with the College provides an open space for conversation and connection. Rooted in her memory: Edith Renfrow Smith and early Black history in Grinnell
Much of the early history of Black Grinnell, town and campus, has been kept in the memory of Edith Renfrow Smith ’37, DHL ’19. We will share some of the history we have learned from listening to what she has known about her hometown and her alma mater for most of 111 years.
