Grinnell-Newburg High School Homecoming Parade, organized the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held downtown on Thursday, October 9! The Grinnell Tigers play Marion High School on Friday, October 10 at 7:30 pm at T.T. Cranny Field!
Parade Date: Thursday, October 9, 2025
Parade Begins: 5:30 p.m.
Lineup Begins: 4:30 p.m. (Downtown: 4th Avenue & Park Street)
**2025 Route will begin downtown, heading north on Broad Street, west on 5th Avenue, south on Main Street and east on Commercial Street back to Broad Street.
A Pep Rally and Dogs for Dollars, a fundraiser for The Tiger Scholarship Fund, will be held following the parade at approximately 6:00pm in Central Park.
All entries must be submitted by Monday October 6, 2025 to participate in the parade.
The 2025 parade is organized by the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Grinnell Mutual and Quick Visit Urgent Care. If your business is interested in sponsoring the festivities, reach out to Rachael today!
*To protect the safety of all parade watchers (particularly children who run into the street) entries are NOT ALLOWED to throw anything from their vehicles or floats. All items must be handed out by parade walkers. Failure to abide by this rule may result in the inability to participate in future parades.
