Overview
Coordinates speech, language, voice and swallowing therapy plans following completion of the assessment as defined by Iowa Licensure requirements. Provides and delegates clinical rehabilitation services to improve and maintain function; focusing on speech, communication, swallowing activities. Acts as a resource to the interdisciplinary team, applying skills of the profession to improve outcomes of persons served. Actions are team oriented to successfully provide quality care and a high level of satisfaction for persons served through evidence -based practice.

Care Delivery
Education: Graduated from an accredited program in respective field.
Experience: Experience in specialty area.
License (s/Certifications: Current Iowa license as an SLP.-Current BLS (CPR). Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse professional backgrounds. Knowledge of basic computer skills. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.
Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
