Description
JOB SUMMARY: Provides instruction in the business curricular areas and behavioral skills to students in high school.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Terms and conditions as established by the Board of Education.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and implements programming associated with core business curriculum and competencies to be delivered in a classroom setting for assigned students.
- Experience teaching General Business, Financial Literacy, Accounting, Marketing, & Business Law preferred, but not required.
- Implements the district's business curriculum, standards and benchmarks.
- Assists in planning and delivery of CTE programming, including marketing & internship opportunities.
- Collaborates with the administration, school counselors, staff, parents and students on matters pertaining to academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral goals.
- Maintains appropriate records and protects the confidentiality of data.
- Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
