Event Description:Grinnell artist Dena Peterson and Mt. Vernon artist Bob Campagna present a new joint exhibit at the Grinnell Arts Center titled, Returning Home: Celebrating Iowa in Paint & Film. The opening reception will be Friday, June 7, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, with an artist talk at 6:00 PM. Exhibit runs through July 6th.
Dena is an oil-painter residing in Grinnell whose work has been exhibited in regional, national, and international shows and appeared in the motion picture, Loving Vincent. Bob’s primary medium is black and white film; shooting landscapes, portraiture and Americana. Both artists have recently returned to their home state of Iowa.
Regular Stewart Gallery hours are 11 AM - 5 PM, Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 AM - 12 PM, Saturdays. Admission to Stewart Gallery is free.
