The Little Mermaid Jr Auditions
April 20, 2024: 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Grinnell Arts Center
The Grinnell Community Theatre is happy to announce auditions for the summer production of The Little Mermaid Jr musical, directly by Debby Pohlson and Tom Lacina. Auditions are open to those in 3rd through 8th grade:
- 1:00 pm: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade auditions
- 3:00 pm: 3rd, 4th and 5th grade auditions
Come prepared to sing a short song without accompaniment, e.g. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. If alternate audition times are necessary, they must be arranged to occur no later than April 20th. Please contact Debby Pohlson, 641-990-0238 or pohlwig@gmail.com, to schedule an alternate audition time. Soloist rehearsals begin the week of May 6th and ensemble rehearsals begin the week of May 13th. Accommodations will be made for students attending Dorian Summer Camp the week of June 9.
Performance dates will be June 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, June 30, at 2:00 pm. All performances will be in the Loft Theatre in the Grinnell Arts Center. The Loft Theatre is small so limited roles will be cast.
