The Grinnell Farmers Market, overseen by the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce, is an open-air market and is a 100% producer market. Shop locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, handcrafted items, and more! Open every Thursday and Saturday through October 18, 2025. Market is held at the corner of 4th Ave and Broad Street. The Grinnell Farmers Market accepts cash and token transactions — but most importantly, money from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)! On the corner of Broad St. and 4th Ave., the Market will have a card reader available for those wishing to purchase tokens with their SNAP EBT cards. Use your SNAP tokens for food items, including:
Note: Market shoppers can also purchase tokens with debit and credit cards.
The Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program will continue for the 2025 season, as well. Customers are able to earn DUFB when purchasing SNAP tokens or spend DUFB earned at Fareway for qualifying products at Market. Learn more on the DoubleUpIowa.org website.
