Childbirth and Prenatal Education

Overview

At UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center, we deliver joy! Preparation for a baby involves education on what to expect, what happens in your body, how to care for yourself and your baby after delivery, breastfeeding and so much more. Our childbirth and prenatal education class is offered and highly encouraged for parents who plan to deliver at GRMC. We encourage you to attend both sessions held during the month – July 14 & 21. Classes start at 6 PM and end around 8 PM. If this does not fit your schedule, we invite you to explore our online opportunities. If you're planning to deliver at another hospital but seeking prenatal education, we encourage you to contact your delivery hospital to inquire about their classes or explore our online class options instead.
