Overview

In recognition of September being National Preparedness Month, join us in conversation with Heather Cox, Director of Emergency Management & Risk Mitigation, as she shares how campus, city, county emergency management, and the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) partners work together before, during, and after an emergency impacts our community.

Also joining the conversation will be:

  • Grinnell Police Chief Michael McClelland
  • Grinnell Fire Chief Dan Sicard
  • Patrick Duffey, Assistant Fire Chief and EMS Director
  • Brian Paul, Poweshiek County Emergency Management Coordinator
  • James Shropshire, Director of Campus Safety - Sheriff Matt Maschmann

Everyone is welcome, including community members, students, faculty, and staff, to foster conversations across campus and community. Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP required.
