Grinnell College Museum of Art Outreach: Summer Kick-Off

Overview

Grinnell College Museum of Art and Drake Community Library will team up to offer a variety of fun art and reading activities to kick off 2026 Summer Programs, including the Library's Summer Reading Program and the GCMoA's Summer Outreach programs, including Storytime Art in the Park. A hotdog lunch will be served by the Elks.

This program is supported by the Greater Poweshiek County Community Foundation/Poweshiek County Alliance, Lincoln Savings Bank, AmeriCorps, Seed Coalition, and the Grinnell Education Partnership.

In case of threatening weather, the event will be canceled. Cancelations will be announced on Grinnell College Museum of Art’s Facebook page prior to the start of the session. You may also text GCMoA at 641 780 5215 or call DCL at 641 236 2661. Grinnell College/Drake Community Library does not assume responsibility for the care and safety of children who attend these events. These programs are open to the public with the understanding that for children who attend, a parent, legal guardian, or other designated caregiver remains responsible for their care and protection.
