Overview
The City of Grinnell's annual fireworks show will be held on Saturday, July 4th at approximately 9:45 pm at Ahrens Park. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the show from designated areas throughout Ahrens Park. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and finding a viewing location. Please note that the baseball/softball fields will not be available during the event, and attendees should avoid the new school construction zone. 16th Avenue will also be closed to through traffic during this time. Parking is available within Ahrens Park and on neighboring streets. The Grinnell fireworks are organized and managed by the Grinnell Fire Department and made possible with the support of the Ahrens Park Foundation.
