Overview
Join us on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 5-6 p.m. in the Katherine Howell Weingart ’61 Civic Innovation Pavilion (1033 Broad St.) at Renfrow Hall for the second in the Grinnell Gathers series. This open house will provide attendees with a chance to learn about local service clubs and the many ways individuals and organizations contribute to strengthening our community. Co-hosted by the Claude W. and Dolly Ahrens Foundation, the Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation, and Grinnell College, this event is part of a year-long series offering an in-depth look at how communities come together and how you can get involved. Featuring groups such as the Rotary Club of Grinnell, 4-H, Boy and Girl Scouts, and more. Connect with neighbors, service clubs, and community organizations as they share their work, impact, and opportunities for engagement. All are welcome; this event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP required.
