Grinnell Gathers: Trick or Treat Volunteer and Service Club Fair

Overview

Come join us for the Trick or Treat Volunteer and Service Club Fair. Connect with local organizations, ask questions, and find the opportunity that’s right for you. All ages are welcome, though individual organizations may have their own minimum age requirements for volunteers. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are all welcome to this fun, open-house style event.

Decorate your trick-or-treat bag and make your way around the room, stopping at participating organizations to collect treats while learning about their missions, programs, and opportunities for involvement. Attendees can explore volunteer opportunities, discover local resources, and meet representatives from a wide range of nonprofits, community foundations, and service clubs.

All are welcome to this free and public program. Whether you’re looking to volunteer for a single event, make a long-term commitment, or simply explore ways to get involved, you’ll discover the many organizations making a difference in our community and the meaningful ways you can be part of their work.

The Trick or Treat Volunteer and Service Club Fair is being held in partnership with the Center for Careers, Life, and Service and the Office of Community Partnership, Planning, and Research. Thanks to the partnership of the Claude W. and Dolly Ahrens Foundation, the Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation, and Grinnell College, this free, year-long Grinnell Gathers series offers an in-depth look at the many ways communities come together and how community members can get involved.
