Registration for the 2026 Homecoming Parade is open now! Entries are due by September 28, and lineup information will be emailed to all registrants the day prior to the parade.
Homecoming Parade 2026 is sponsored by Grinnell Mutual, Grinnell College, Jensen Mechanical, Mahaska Communication Group, Oakland Acres Golf Club, QuickVisit Urgent Care and Windsor Manor. The 2026 Homecoming Parade Route will begin downtown, heading north on Broad Street, west on 5th Avenue, south on Main Street and west on Commercial Street. A Pep Rally and Dogs for Dollars, a fundraiser for Tiger Scholarship Fund, will be held following the parade at approximately 6:00 PM in Central Park.
The annual Homecoming Parade is organized by the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Grinnell Tigers Activities Department. This celebration of our local schools serves as a great way to encourage business and non-profit organizational support, fosters community vitality, and promotes Grinnell as a great community to live, learn, work, and play.
