Overview

Kintsugi (golden joinery or repair) is the Japanese technique of mending broken objects with lacquer and powdered metals. Led by Lisa Bacon, in this two-day exercise we will use gold powder and a special glue to mend and repurpose your treasured artifacts and heirlooms. The registration fee includes a Kintsugi kit which participants will keep and take home.

  • Class dates: Saturdays, April 25 & May 2, 2026 (must attend both days)
  • Instructor: Lisa Bacon
  • Ages: 14+
  • Fee: $75 (Stew members receive 10% discount; students use code STUDENT25 for a 25% discount)
