Overview

Join us to hear about the life and career journey of Jeff Ulmer, Grinnell College class of 1993. The first few years after graduation, Jeff Ulmer worked in marketing in Atlanta and sales in Riverside, CA, then he worked as a temporary underwriting assistant at a small company in Chicago and a broker assistant in the wholesale world. Since then, he has spent 11 years at CRC and has been at RT Specialty for 16 years. Today, Jeff’s considered an expert on bicycle and e-bike product liability coverage, creating the first insurance program in the nation for a bike share. As V.P. of Casualty Division at RT Specialty, he leads a team of 9 placing coverage for manufacturers, contractors, real estate companies and sharing economy entities.
