Overview
Impress your friends at Halloween! Or scare the neighborhood kids! Transform raw clay and paper into wearable, sculpted works of art! In this hands-on 4-session class, students will learn the full process of sculptural mask-making. Starting with a solid clay base to build three-dimensional features, students will then layer paper mache over their forms, pull the dried shells, and bring their creations to life with paint and mixed-media embellishments. Perfect for youth interested in sculpture, costume design, or character building.
