Opening Reception: (diasporic) echoes and encounters

Overview

Join us to celebrate the newest exhibit in Stewart Gallery at the opening reception of "(diasporic) echoes and encounters" by Haitian-American artist Pascal Lafontant. Lafontant centers his practice in Afro-Caribbean and American diasporic identities, odysseys, familial sagas, syncretic mythologies, and Southern hemispheric bodies to explore migrants’ resilience and homemaking in the US. Admission is free and open to all!
