Peppertree at the Depot Crossing Salad

Soup & Salad

Begin with a mixed salad or a savory cup of soup at Relish Grinnell, located in a quaint yellow Victorian house on the edge of Central Park. Also enjoy something from their drink menu, perhaps a signature cocktail. The restaurant prides itself on using local foods with global flavors, including seasonal ingredients from the Grinnell area whenever possible. You'll also find flavors inspired by the Midwest and the Middle East, and nearly everywhere in between.

For a shareable appetizer, consider Hotel Grinnell, a renovated former school building with an on-site bar and an assortment of specialty shared plates from all over the world.

Main Course

Stop by the Peppertree at the Depot Crossing for a range of homestyle meals featuring steaks, pasta, seafood, Iowa pork, and more. You will get the full depot experience when a train passes by and the floor rattles. If the weather is nice, grab a seat on the patio. Located in Grinnell's historic train depot, this restaurant has the perfect atmosphere for date night.

Dessert

Drinks and decadent desserts await you at Solera, located on Broad Street across from Central Park. This cozy wine bar offers renowned chocolate chip cookies and chocolate caramel "turtle" cake, along with a variety of hand-picked wines and local beers.
