Overview
Following the flag ceremony, guests are invited to a luncheon at 12:00 p.m. in the HSSC Atrium, featuring catering from Royce Ann’s, Lady Jerk, and GiGi’s Chicken and Waffles.
Attendees can also explore a vendor fair showcasing Black-owned businesses and organizations in A1231, along with games and activities for all ages. Enjoy live music by The Feel Right Band of Des Moines, and outdoor fun with bounce houses located outside the HSSC.
We invite students, employees, and community members to come together in celebration, reflection, and joy as we honor the significance of Juneteenth.
