Arbor Lake and Lake Nyanza Improvements Public Meeting

Overview

Join the Iowa DNR and the City of Grinnell to learn about proposed plans to improve water quality and recreational opportunities at Arbor Lake and Lake Nyanza. This public meeting will include an overview of proposed restoration activities, including sediment removal, shoreline stabilization, fish habitat improvements, watershed work to reduce runoff, and enhancements to recreational opportunities. Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback on the proposed plans and project timeline. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027.
