Join us at the Pioneer Bookshop for a special reading with author and illustrator Jaime Zollars, celebrating the release of her newest picture book, Maybe Monsters. This charming story follows an anxious rabbit who imagines all kinds of frightening possibilities outside his front door, only to discover an unexpected world filled with wonder.

Jaime Zollars draws inspiration from fairy tales, Flemish painters, nonfiction, forgotten paper, found textures, and flea market photographs. She is the author and illustrator of The Truth About Dragons and illustrator of The Night Frolic by Julie Berry. Her artwork has been recognized by American Illustration, Communication Arts, and the Society of Illustrators, among others.
