Grinnell College invites you to join their new weekly series of casual, engaging conversations with featured campus guests. The new weekly series provides an opportunity for informal, engaging conversations between the College and broader Grinnell community on a variety of topics. Championing the Student Athlete Experience: A Holistic Approach is today’s topic with a moderated panel discussion. Join us to learn about the modern student athlete experience and discover how you can make a difference in their lives. Today’s student athletes balance rigorous training schedules with academic demands while developing crucial leadership skills. Our comprehensive support system provides personal mentorship and resources that address their athletic, academic, and personal needs. In this session, you’ll discover: -What daily life looks like for student athletes -The mentorship and support systems in place -Practical ways you can encourage and support our student athletes Whether you’re a parent, faculty member, alumni, or community supporter, this event will help you better understand and champion the student athletes representing our institution.
