Our Next Lunch & Learn: Musical Chairs Speed Networking

The Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an exciting Lunch & Learn networking session for Chamber members who want to connect, business to business. In this event, experience a twist to interacting with fellow business owners: musical chairs speed networking! The event will be held at Grinnell School of Music (720 5th Ave); space is limited.
In the first round of musical chairs, randomly meet with a familiar or new face, enjoy a few minutes of conversation, and explore the potential for collaboration. Once the music starts up again, you’ll transition into conversation with another potential collaborator.
Following the event, attendees will indicate their interest in working with fellow attendees they've spoken to and the Grinnell Chamber will facilitate mutual connections post-event. Worried you might forget what you conversed about? Not a problem — the Grinnell Chamber staff will provide a small notepad to take notes during each interaction. Networking is a crucial step to facilitating business growth, as well as increase brand visibility, and receive support from like-minded individuals.
This session is one of the Chamber’s efforts to implement the feedback and advice of Grinnell Chamber members given through previous member surveys. During the event, the Chamber will provide pre-set questions to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience with fellow business owners also seeking to establish meaningful connections.
Take the opportunity to meet fellow Chamber members, share your expertise, and gather valuable insights from local peers. This Lunch & Learn session will undoubtedly grow your network and boost your visibility in the Grinnell community.
