Musical Chairs Speed Networking: April 22, 2026 • 11:30 AM-1 PM • Grinnell School of Music
The Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce hosted an exciting Lunch & Learn networking session for Chamber members who wanted to connect, business to business. In this event, attendees experienced a twist to interacting with fellow business owners: musical chairs speed networking!
In the first round of musical chairs, people randomly met with a familiar or new face, enjoyed a few minutes of conversation, and explored the potential for collaboration. Once the music started up again, attendees transitioned into conversation with another potential collaborator.
This session is one of the Chamber’s efforts to implement the feedback and advice of Grinnell Chamber members given through previous member surveys. During the event, the Chamber will provide pre-set questions to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience with fellow business owners also seeking to establish meaningful connections.
