Painting: Sweet Oranges

Overview

Looking to get out of the heat, stretch your creative skills, or pick up some new ones? Join us at the STEW as you are guided through steps to create an acrylic painting. Instructor Rachel Roen is a K-12 art educator providing direct instruction and support throughout the session This week’s painting is Sweet Oranges, where a bright background is filled with juicy oranges and orange blossoms. Participants will paint their background and apply their oranges, stems, flowers, and leaves to fill their space in this session. Feel free to bring a beverage to sip on while we paint! Canvas, brushes, and paints provided. It is recommended that participants wear clothes that may stain. Families and all skill levels welcome, ages 9+ recommended. $40 fee.
