City of Grinnell Fire Department

Overview

The Grinnell Fire Department is organized to provide for life and property safety from the threat of fires and natural or man-made disasters and emergency rescues. This will be accomplished through planning, prevention, education, incident mitigation, and appropriate application of technology. The Grinnell Fire Department also provides ambulance services to the City of Grinnell and surrounding areas within Poweshiek and Jasper Counties. As a provisional paramedic level service, we are able to provide Advanced Life Support level of care to our service area.
