Read 2 Lead supports early childhood literacy by providing books and programs to foster a love of reading! As Poweshiek County's local arm of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Read 2 Lead provides free age-appropriate, high-quality books each month to registered children from birth to five. We partner with Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA) in Grinnell to ensure families have access to fun books to encourage reading along with sponsoring Kindergarten Kickoff bags featuring literacy and STEM material for preschool graduates in Poweshiek County.
