Overview

Witte’s Home Decorating has been at its location, 726 5th Avenue in Grinnell for more than seven years. Sherrie Witte, the owner, has been in the flooring, blind, and antique business for 45 years. Witte’s has been located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Grinnell.

One of the unique things about Witte’s is that they have their own installers. Sherrie’s son, Ben Goodrich, has been installing for 22 years and is now part owner of the business. Tom Romanoski has been installing for many years and also does the tile work. Witte’s measures the job and gives you an accurate estimate.

Mohawk, Shaw, Southwind, Congoleum, Paramount, Metro, Casabella, and Alta are some of the brands carried. The antique selection is one of the best in the state, with two floors of furniture, pottery, crocks, china, advertising, pictures, holiday decor, and so much more. 

Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
