A Mother's Compass

Overview

A Mother’s Compass is a pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood education and support practice located in Grinnell, Iowa. Founded by Elise Hall, A Mother’s Compass helps families navigate pregnancy and life with a new baby through evidence-informed education, individualized support, movement, and community. Services include birth doula support, childbirth and newborn education, breastfeeding support and education, babywearing consultations, prenatal and postpartum movement, Body Ready Method® birth preparation, and responsive infant sleep education.

A Mother’s Compass also hosts classes, workshops, and free community events for expecting and new parents. At A Mother’s Compass, the goal is simple: less overwhelm, more clarity, and thoughtful support for every step of the journey.
