Proceeds from the breakfast are used for a variety of Grinnell Optimist Club projects to bring out the best in kids including Backpacks for Kids, National Night Out and aid to families who have children receiving medical treatment out of town.
The Fly-In Breakfast is the largest fundraiser to help support these efforts; join them for this fun and unique breakfast opportunity in town! Tickets are available from any Optimist Member or at the door.

Our childbirth and prenatal education class is offered and highly encouraged for parents who plan to deliver at GRMC. Join UnityPoint Health - Grinnell's specially trained physical therapists for a focus on perinatal pelvic floor health. This class will cover common symptoms you may experience in pregnancy and following delivery related to your pelvic floor. A pelvic floor physical therapist will review how pelvic floor physical therapy can address common complaints related to hip and back pain in pregnancy, pelvic pain, incontinence and more! Topics include, but are not limited to, musculoskeletal driven pain in pregnancy related to hip/back/pelvic floor musculature, preparation for birth as it relates to the pelvic floor, bladder health, bowel health, pelvic pain and abdominal and hip muscle strengthening. Following the presentation, there will be a frequently asked questions session and open Q&A to address your specific questions as well as a demonstration of a few exercises you can do with baby!
